The art collective founded by the Miami-based artists, Sam Borkson and Arturo Sandoval, known as Friends With You have a knack of making toys that resonate with both children, and adults alike.

The “Wish Come True” figurines are my personal favorite. These little guys have weighted bottoms and built-in bell chimes, giving each one a playful rocking motion and a subtle, soothing sound, and they always seem to make me smile when I walk by them in our loft.

Oakland based Deth P. Sun (pronounced Death P. Sun) is one my favorite artists.

Last week, I was fortunate enough to purchase one of his drawings.

Tittled: “Cat banging on “Yes” drum.”

Out of all of Deth’s works I’ve collected over the years, this one so far is my favorite.

Perhaps the chubbiest book ever!
