Design: Japanese Lunch Box
The three vertical components are stackable, microwavable and each one comes with built in chopsticks and holder. Mmm…bento from the future.
Japanese brand metaphys has designed ‘ojue’ - a lunch box with a minimized base that can be stacked vertically, allowing it to be placed neatly inside even the slimmest of bags. Based on the idea of providing ‘vertical flexibility’, ‘ojue’ is comprised of three units and can be freely combined depending on one’s appetite or physical condition.

mangopopstar:

The night before Thanksgiving was spent celebrating my hubby’s birthday at one of the most amazing and respectable restaurants I’ve ever visited. Thanks to Alice Waters, whose culinary philosophy centers on cooking with only the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients which are produced sustainably and locally. Chez Panisse is a lovely reminder of how one person can influence many and truly make a difference. Its a journey that should not be missed, if you have the opportunity to dine there and possibly tour the kitchen as well. Make sure to call up to a month in advance for reservations for the pre-set restaurant meal downstairs, you’ll be happy you did!

Tokyo: Molly and I had lunch at this uber cool, modern Vietnamese restaurant, located inside the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. Truth be told, the food was just okay, and everything on the menu was totally overpriced.
